Please realize that when you commission me for a theme, you are buying the best you can get! You are paying for a piece of art like what you would hang on a wall. The only difference is its painted in pixels and hangs on your XMB. When you boot up your PS3 for the day and see your custom theme, you can smile with the thought that "This is MY theme". It is YOURS and YOURS alone, like a small Davinci. You can be proud of this new turn of style for your collection of art!

LEGAL NOTICE:

When you commission a theme, you are agreeing to a binding contract that is irravockable, non-refundable, and non-transferable. The artist (me) will do everything in his power to make you happy with your product. Work Update

Well I have one theme 40% done and several concepts under way (pre-alpha). The big news is, I aquired several new programs that I am in the process of learning how to use, namely: Cinema 4D, Terragen, and Erain Swift3D. These programs will help make my themes even more awesome.

On a side note, I would like to point out that I havn't recieved any comments on ANYTHING! Please don't be afraid to post. Heck, what you say dosen't even have to be inteligable! JUST LET ME KNOW THAT LIVING PEOPLE ARE READING MY BLOG! I would like to feal that I'm not wasting my time here, but it is starting to feel that way.....

"Skull's Soul"

Well its finaly done. Halloween theme is here! It took way longer than I expected, but what the heck, I think you will find it worth the wait. This theme is comprised of skulls and lots of them! Every wallpaper has skulls, every icon has skulls, and i bet if you were trippin balls, you would see skulls in the audio too!

This theme has 9 HD wallpapers, a complete icon set comprised of skulls that have a sweet transluscent quality to them. I also included my normal audio set. I swear, eventualy I WILL make a new audio set. Audio is hard though, so untill I come upon a large ammount of free time, no new audio. ENJOY! And dont let the zombies get ya....

Link to download. If you need download instructins, look to my other posts. Its in here somewhere....

and....SAFE!!!!!!!!!

Well, by a stroke of geniouse on my part, I got my computer working again without the need to delete anything! I now know exactly what was wrong. A rootkit had taken over anati.sys driver, a highly critical driver, and was denying access to it.

How I fixed it: I loaded up my broken computer on a port of WinPE called Active@ Boot Disc and copied the entire C: drive to a WD 1Terrabyte drive. On a whim, I plugged the drive into my brothers netbook and scanned the entire thing with Kaspersky AV. IT FOUND A ROOTKIT IN DRIVER ANATI.SYS!!! I searched my brothers netbook for the drive and copied it to a flash drive, put it into the broken PC and replaced the original infected driver with the netbooks driver. I re-booted the computer fully expecting it to blue-screen again, BUT IT LOADED UP!

Yea, so now stuff is workin and the themes can roll on! I am making final preperations to release Skull's Soul theme! Just in time for Halloween!

First steps.

To my imence pleasure, I was able to rescue all my data. My computer, however, will not escape the hard reset... bummer. The only upside to this is whole ordeal is that now I am an even better troubleshooter. I was good before, but now I have a program called Active@ Boot Disc. IT IS THE SINGLE GREATEST PROGRAM EVER. LOOK IT UP!!! So yea, its going to be some time still befor I'm making themes again. I have to re-install all my programs still, but at least the data is safely on my WD 1TB drive now.

Murphy's Law...

The law that sometimes seems to govern my life. It states that "If something can go wrong, it will". I was preparing my next Halloween macabre skull theme when that Microsoft upade shield poped up. It updated while I ate dinner. When i got  back, I tried to re-boot my PC and to my infinite horror, it bluescreened... then blackscreened. I tried all the boot options (safe, networking, last known config and normal), but it always Blues then blacks. I am locked out of windows *sob*. I am fairly sure that it is being caused by a malfunctioning driver called TDI.sys. I am currently able to recover my files by means of a WinPE boot disc, but i dont think that I will be escaping the imminent 'full reset'. Needless to say, I wont be making any themes for quite some time. I am now posting from my brothers netbook, which most certainly cant pull the weight of the programs I  use. I have to *sniffles* re-install all my high end graphic design programs. I expect to be opperational again between 14 and 21 days. Wish me luck.

Wallpapers

If you don't have the money for an entire theme, you can always spring for a wallpaper. They're versatile, cheap, and fun to make. I make them in dimensions that are compatible for your PS3 or your PC (I guess they would work on Mac also, but i dont have a Mac so I'm not certain).  Heck, if you know the proportions of the picture you want (in pixel size), i can make a wallpaper for anything!

To my knowledge, there isn't a free image hosting site that does justice to my hi-def pictures. one sight made a red picture blue... So I packed all the wallpapers I was going to post here into a .zip file. You can download the pack and just keep the ones you like. Keep in mind that these files are sized for PS3 wallpapers, so there is a minute amount of distortion if you use it as a PC wallpaper.

This is the Rapidshare link. It links to a .zip file. once you have downloaded the file, right click it and select 'extract all'. Enjoy!

About Commissions

Ok, so i was contemplating the idea of accepting commissions on themes. A commission is when someone contracts an artist to create a work for them. The patron contracts the artist to make a piece of art for an agreed fee. Once the details of the work are decided, the fee folows suit. I would charge by the job, not by the hour. Once the patron and i agree on the fee, the patron will be given an P.O. box adress where they should send the check for the agreed price. Once i get the check and it clears, I will begin work on the theme. Commissions are NEVER refundable by any artist. Once the theme is completed, I will upload the theme to a file sharing service. The theme will be packed in a .zip and locked with a code. I will e-mail you the code and the link seperately with instructions on how to extract and install the theme. I have extra services i can provide on request for nominal fees. At this time i am not accepting Commissions, but soon. Once I get a P.O. box and figure out an exact price scheme, I will open for business
Things that can be added that will change the price:
 *  Number of wallpapers.
 *  Custom icons.
 *  Custom audio made by me.
 *  Files on a CD mailed to the customer instead of downloading from a file sharing service.

Please keep in mind the legal restrictions. I can not sell themes of copywrited material (no games, bands, tv shows, etc.).

Current work update

As of now I have started work on 3 new themes. The first is another abstract art theme that has thought provoking scenes. The second is a macabre, skull centered theme in honor of Halloween. Expect that one out next. The third is called 'twisted religion'. despite the name, it is in no way blasphemous. It simply makes light on annotations such as "HOLY MACKEREL!" and things like that. This one is in it's very early stages.

"And that's the way it is. This is Soulkreig signing off."

"Candystripe Pop-art"

This is one of my favorite themes. It has a unified concept in its design, unlike my previouse themes. I was going for cubism and colorful minimalism; though you will find there is nothing simple about this theme. I tried something new in this one. I tried coordinating color patterns in the wallpapers with the icons physical location. it makes coolness.

There 10 VERY colorful wallpapers that are sure to make you smile (unless your a sadistic color hating weasel). The icon set is original and matches the wallpapers exquisitly. Also included is an original sound set rendered in FLStudio.

"Soul's Art Theme"

This theme has gone through sooo may changes from concept to production. It has sort of been my guinnie-pig theme. I used it to experiment with different features. So as that statement implies, this theme is packed with goodies. Unfortunately, I have heard from a user that there are some incompatebility issues. I tested this and all my themes on a 80GB standard size PS3 that was manufactured in late 2007. I do know that different PS3 systems (20,  40, 60, 80, and 160GB) actualy have different software from one another, and even recieve different patches. If ANYONE has any incompatibility incidents, PLEASE tell me all about it so i can attemp to circumvent the issue. So yea....

This theme has 10 wallpapers featuring a range of my artistic.... weirdnes. The icon set is 100% original featuring quirky pictures on a rendered 3d 'Oblong-in-torus' thingie. Also included is custom audio rendered in FLStudio

"Total Custom"

This was my first note-worthy theme. Even though this isn't ACTUALY my first theme, its the earliest one I'm going to share. The wallpapers are original but the icons are just random icons I found from all over the internet.

IMPORTANT! There are two ways of putting themes onto your PS3. The first is using your PS3's browser to download the theme strait to your hard drive. The second is downloading the theme to your computer, and placing the .p3t file on a removable media drive (ergo USB, SD, MS, any removable storage). You have to place the file on the drive at this location: D:/  (or however it appears on your computer) PS3/THEME/ (p3t file here). Stick the drive into your ps3 and head over to settings>themes>install theme.
